Batilde Barrel Jean

Wasn't sure about these at first. Got them with the coral Raquel top and they are super comfy and look really cute! Got my usual size 29 which fit well. Kind of baggy at first but the 28 were a little too tight. I think they're supposed to be that way. Haven't worn them yet but looking forward to it.

Love these jeans. The fit is great.

Pants are not "high waisted" unless the rise is at least 12" high-- that is the measurement from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband at the center front. So many brands call their jeans high waisted and they don't come near the actual waist. These do. Joie is one of the only brands making a perfect 14" rise! BUT a huge issue is the disgusting smell of polyurethane. We can handle jeans not getting wrinkly without the use of this highly toxic chemical. I've washed these in baking soda 3 times and the scent lingers. These are a bit baggy for me but my waist looks snatched!
